Wingham FC hosted a junior football camp at Wingham Sporting Complex run by Jeff Summers, a noted and respected football coach based out of Forster, some 17 eager sporting kids lined up to learn his tips for their favourite winter sports. "We learnt heaps of skills" was the comment from 10year old Nathan Smith who attended the camp, using words like fun, interesting and very structured (from his mother). Organised by Wingham FC soccer committee, it was part of the effort this year to further develop the skills of the future club and adds to the coaching courses offered previously this season to the mums and dads who coach their teams. Hayley and Jordan Goodman who are competitive juniors took a lot away from the course, perfecting their first touch and understanding the importance of juggling and personal skills, which can be practiced at home.
